The AJC is a shite paper these days. Doesn't matter your politics - they're shite.
And this is sports. In the grand scheme of things, it isn't that important. Even the soap opera aspect is harmless frivolity - until you start ruining people's reputations. I wish they'd stop fighting personal/social/political battles and just report. There's no reason for them to be so invested in an agenda that they can't even convey information.

killing folks drag racing, forced sodomy during a recruiting visit, forcing your underage girlfriend to stay against her will(she was 17 at the time and had had a year long plus previous relationship)… soap opera frivolity ladies and gentlemen. Just don’t embarrass the perpetrators too much. After all boys will be boys.
