It's not like we were pond scum, but I think the 2021 NC win over Bama was the most important game UGA has won in several decades.

Really going out on a limb here.

For Ole Miss under Freeze, it was the 2013 LSU game. We came into that game limping, having lost three in a row, with a bunch of suspended players. LSU was #6 and with wins over multiple top 25 teams. The defense forced three Mettenberger interceptions and the Rebels did just enough to win on a beautiful night in Oxford. It was definitely one of the "Good Bo" nights in his career too, so I'll give him some props. He was masterful on the final drive, picking up a couple of key first downs with his legs.

After beating LSU that night, we then proceeded to go 24-9 over our next 33 games.

Laugh all you want. 24-9 over a 33 game span isn't something we do often.

Why would you say that? I think anybody can see what I said was accurate. We wouldn't be where we are today if we had not got the Bama gorilla off our backs. That win was huge to Kirby and the program as far as breaking through to the top of the mountain. Wouldn't you agree?
