I'm skeptical that 9 is enough. ACC bylaws are silent on the issue, so you'd revert to the rules of the state of incorporation (which I think is NC -- can't remember if it's 2/3 or 3/4 required for dissolution there). I believe it's going to require at least 10 votes (not sure if ND counts as a member for these purposes or not), and I just don't see how there would be that many landing spots.

This is the opinion of most of the UNC board, that 7 or 8 (a majority) isn't enough to dissolve. I believe 3/4 may be necessary but no one seems to be 100% certain about this.
