No, it’s just like when he bitched about the up tempo offenses when he lost to teams employing it. Said it was bad for the players and would cause injuries. Apparently that “sincere” concern for player safety didn’t stop him from going up tempo did it? It’s who he is, he can’t help it. He can’t handle losing and will whine about it because it just eats at him.

If he were really concerned about parity, here's some things he might have said in the past.
In 2021 CFP:
You know, I really question whether we just played one of the best teams in the country. They tell me Vegas would've favored a lot of teams that are not in the playoff over Cincinnati. We are a pass heavy team now, we have struggled to run the football against the better defenses we have played. We came into this game vs. Cincinnati and shut our passing game down and just ran the football and won fairly easily, so I wonder if we are really getting the best teams in here.
In the 2015 playoff: I realize that Michigan State won a lot of games and beat some highly ranked teams at the time they played them. They also struggled many times against not so good teams. They are the only team that has made the playoff (still holds to today BTW) that has a negative in Net yards per play when adding the offensive NYPP and their defensive NYPP. So I have to wonder if they were really one of the best four teams.

A “good” SEC team will go 8-0 or maybe 7-1 in OOC + the 4 games against the bottom 8/14 teams.
They will then need to go 2-2 in the four “toughest” SEC games each year.
1) Texas or Oklahoma
2) Three games vs:
Alabama, Georgia, Florida, LSU, A&M, Auburn
10-2 likely gets in the playoff every year and 9-3 will be on the playoff bubble.
If you can’t go 2-2 vs the top 4 games on the SEC schedule, then you probably don’t deserve to be in the playoff. I think that’s reasonable, and a lot better than it used to be where you pretty much had to go undefeated to have a chance.
