Nice anecdotal quote you pulled out of your arse from what sounds like one game.
Take the L. You tried to be a condescending prick and got shut down by actual statistics.

It was obvious that the left-handed pitchers accounted for LSU’s poor performance at the plate and that remained a concern going into the next game.”
Is this quote from a single game? Probably an Arky game with two stud lefties…
Stats tell the story not your perception

Maybe provide some context. So you pulled up a random quot about one game? Was it the Arkansas game? Yes, LSU struggled against a good pitcher. They've also had bad games against RHP as well. As a team, they hit .305 against LHP and .317 against RHP. Against SEC teams, LSU actually hit better against LHP than they did RHP, hitting .282 against LHP and .279 against RHP. They hit well against both LHPs and RHPs, and there was a nominal difference between the two. Sorry the facts don't support your anecdotal memory.

Schloss played nothing but left handers I believe in the first series bc he sensed it was something that could throw your batters off. By game 3, it was obvious they weren’t used to it. Late in the season, when LSU dropped 2 games, I believe you guys faced 12 lefties in a row or something insane. While you might be able to prove statistically that it might not matter or that it’s a minimal difference, when you watch the games live, that difference is visible to the naked eye. At least from our pov. Not a dig at LSU, but you might as well pencil in “A&M will go lefties” for our series next year now lol

It was early in the season and we were much worse against LHP last year, so the scouting report up to that point indicated that was the right move at the time. Y'all also carry way more LHP than any other team I can remember. That said, LSU scored 12, 9, and 6 runs against your LHPs in the series we played and were 32/110 against A&M pitching on the weekend (.290), so higher than their season average against SEC LHP.

That's a silly way to evaluate reality. SOunds like our fans saying "It seems like we always struggle against __________" when the numbers say the opposite.

Welcome troll. Member since 5/31/23. You’re the prick. Also, LSU’s leading RBI hitter is the one who’s BA goes down when he faces lefty’s.

Didn’t know agreeing with the logical majority in an argument was trolling.
Continue to cope and die on your ignorant hill with cherry picking. If anyone is trolling, it’s your sorry arse.

don't think you can make posts trend on here, so not sure why you felt the need to hashtag "dumbass"

LSU batting is statistically good against lefties this year and you’re wrong which I can tell is something you can’t stand.
What more is required to be said? Especially to someone who puts hashtags in a post. Jesus.

And yet, you took 2 L’s at the end of the year to lefties, and those hot bats of yours were swinging desperately on the 9th to stay in those games fam
Posted on 6/16/23 at 10:29 am to JayAg
And you took two Ls in the regional and are currently sitting at home in fagland.

I’m wrong about our leading RBI producer not hitting left-handed pitchers as well as right-handed pitchers? You really must not watch LSU baseball bud.

Can’t even stick to your original argument anymore and have to whittle it down to one player and a quote from one game. This is pathetic. No one else agrees with you. Take a hint and go finish eating your crayons.

We took Ls to RHPs and beat LHPs at the end of the year too. The two games LSU beat UGA the last series of the year, they started LHPs who both got smoked. Their starter in game 3 was also a LHP. He gave up 3 runs in 5 innings. Their bullpen arms, almost all RHPs shut LSU down the last 3 innings to take game 3.
I don't know why you're trying to make this a thing when the numbers say the opposite. Cherry picking individual games, especially in a sport like baseball, is not going to bolster your argument
So LSU leads the SEC against LHPs and actually had a higher BA in SEC play against LHPs than RHPs but because they lost a couple of games to LHPs over the course of an entire season, that means they generally struggle against LHP? You know that makes no sense logically so I don't know why you want to die on this hill
Hell, even against A&M in the SECT, they didn't really struggle to hit, they struggled to hit with RISP, which had been an issue against all pitching for several weeks at the tail end of the season. They had 12 hits on the two lefties A&M threw (12/38 for a .316 BA), just kept leaving runners on base.

This is dumb. Arkansas’ lefties beat us twice this year, not just because they pitch from the left side, but because they are damn good.
Your “eye test” argument is dumb too. Stats over the course of 60+ games don’t matter? Dumb.
