Spoke with someone who would know who said LSU manager was adamant that the “possibility of storms” required a pushback to tonight (when it’s cooler with less potential for pop-up storms)

UK disagreed but NCAA site official went with the LSU argument

It’s pretty obvious what’s happening. Baseball and football is their bread and butter, and when they lose, money is lost from the university as well as the state. Collegiate and pro sports is literally the only economy of Louisiana.
