By your graphic, seems like Clemson has a decent argument as well.
But yes, all of those MSU guys are beasts, and I love watching them play on Sundays.

The defensive line talent that those Mullen teams had was incredible.
There is a theory amongst Mississippi State fans that every 4-5 years, the stars align and State has an incredible team but can't put it all together.
2010 - The SEC West was just so good that year. That team curbstomped Michigan in the bowl game and ended No. 15 in the final poll
2014 - State gets to No. 1 for five weeks but can't finish the job. Ends up No. 10 after losing the Orange Bowl.
2018 - No. 1 defense in the country anchored by some of these guys. Mullen had left for Florida and the offense wasn't there. 9-4 team that should have been 11-2 or better.
2023 - Schedule is favorable. Defense will be great. Mike Leach died and we have a unproven head coach.

I wonder why more go to state than umiss.
Umiss has had a few but no where near like state, atleast for the last couple decades.
