That's rich.


Saban had the benefits of the REC cleverly navigating illegally paying for recruits. Now that it's legal, he's pissed off.

This is the whole story. It used to be that just a small collection of SEC schools were paying players (It is amazing that Bama fans really think kids from major metropolitan areas all over the country really want to go to a piss poor academic institution in the middle of nowhere Alabama). Now that it is legal to compensate players, Bama and its alumni will have to outspend the alumni of Texas and USC. 10 years from now, CFB will look radically different and Bama will again be an afterthought.
