We go to 10 or so Braves games a year and the atmosphere at the Battery is fantastic on game day or not. It is a little generic in a shopping mall sort of way but that's not necessarily a bad thing...what it lacks in color and characters it makes up for in safety etc. and is perfectly suited for families and couples who are out for a few hours and not interested in getting whip roaring drunk or dining in a 3 star restaurant. The crowd inside the stadium though is HORRIBLE since the Braves moved to Smyrna. The move has enabled locals to attend games other than those on weekends and the local area is home to one of the largest concentrations of Karens and Darens in the free world...and they are present in huge numbers and practicing their art at a high level. The numbers of these people at braves games increased when the Braves moved out of Fulton County Stadium but they flat our dominate the crowd at Truist. The stadium is a VAST improvement over Turned Field and the Battery is really fun for what it is meant to be...but Braves crowds have become nearly intolerable since the team moved to their backyard...Imagine 25,000 or so Marjorie Taylor Greens vying for position as the most annoying person in a space and you will get an idea of what a typical Braves crowd is like today. MTG by herself is entertaining.....25,000 or so of them is just unpleasant.

This is significantly better than dodging gunfire walking into Turner Field.
