Here's how an ESPN senior NBA analyst thinks things are going for Brandon and the NBA's assessment of his character.

“Teams have already spent a lot of time and resources on that particular event and the background of Brandon Miller. And what I’m getting back from those organizations is not only did they not find anything that they would consider disqualifying to select Brandon Miller, they are finding a young man who they say is mature, focused, whose character and his habits are actually an asset in their evaluation of him. Certainly, once the draft board is up and we see who is picking second, third and fourth, they’re gonna dig in even more. But right now, Brandon Miller is very much in play to be the second overall pick in this draft.”

Cry, bitches.

I'm sure the same things were said about Morant prior to that draft.

I mean duh. The story completely died after Alabama got eliminated from the tournament. Nobody cares about it or the victim anymore

He is better at assisting shooters off the court rather than on the court.

He may not be the worst person ever but he can’t be too bright- and I realize basketball execs don’t care about that.

Also, he should have had to sit at some point during the season, if just for one game - he was involved in a murder even if he is innocent of any wrong doing.

I do still really doubt the ‘he didn’t see the text about the gun’ bizness.

And Janae Harris for whoever said people don’t remember her.

Probably the first time her name’s been mentioned since Bama lost in the Tournament.

Funny how that works. And it’s spelled Jamea.

No, but the rest of you people certainly did - as soon as Bama lost. Of course, we all knew that would happen, because trolling sports rivals is more important than human suffering.

My daughter was somewhere she wasn't supposed to be late at night and she got punished. She didn't break the law either.

You’d punish your college aged daughter for being a designated driver?

That’s pretty fricking weird.
