UGA was as healthy as they had been all season in 2021 in the NCG.

We also had multiple starters out with injury.

Both things can in fact be true.

Tate Ratledge was a starting OG in 2021. Tykee Smith was starting at the star position. Jalen Kimber was a starting CB. All either got injured before the season or early in the season for UGA and were out for the year.

UGA was "next man up" that season and the backups played great. So much so that Tykee Smith couldn't claw his starting job back from Bullard the following season and Kimber transferred to Florida rather than compete against a stacked defensive backfield.
