re: Bottom line - Smart is dominating recruiting right now

Alabama is 3 years out from winning a natty, beat the eventual natty winner pretty handidly 2 years ago losing in the natty to the same team and lost 2 games that could have easily been wins last year which would have put Alabama right in the middle of the playoff picture. If Saban were 60 years old and it was any other program which had not dominated CFB like Bama has for the last 15 years or so no one would be talking about Alabama's "demise". What Smart has done at UGA is incredible and as long as Smart has the desire to continue doing it at that level UGA may seriously be on a Alabama/Saban type run, time will tell, but counting Alabama out is a mistake...if they lose 2 this season by more than 4 points combined they may be on the slide but it is way too early and the roster is way too stacked to rest easy with Nick Saban in Tuscaloosa.
