Dominic Fletcher called up to the DBacks yesterday

Went 1-2 with a double in his MLB debut.

I watched a couple games of his at AA Amarillo, he’s still so damn smooth defensively in CF and still loves diving for highlight catches.

We’ve had a lot of great CFs, but Fletcher may have been the best of the DVH era. Incredible defense, cannon arm, and while streaky his en fuego streaks at the plate were full of no doubters.

Also side note, Heston is destroying the ball this year to build on coming back to the game last year. He had 2 HR in his first two Os spring training games. He’s had 6 HR in 18 games this year for AA Bowie. He’s looking like one of the best prospects in an absolutely stacked Os farm system.

ETA: Every year 2018 hurts more (do your job, time), and I become more amazed we were so close to beating that OSU team with Rutschman, Larnach, Madrigal, etc.. I thought it would be tough to root for Rutschman as an Os fan but it’s a lot easier than I expected. You can’t create a better catcher in a lab.
