Why did he drop so far? A lot of people were saying he was a possible 1st round pick

Yeah I didn’t want to say it first but it seems like he went from a late first rounder to a third rounder overnight. It wasn’t even like he was waiting for his name to be called based on Kiper’s rankings or anything. I just woke up on draft day and suddenly he was a consensus third rounder.

6-4 235 4.59 and what probably hurt him was that he was seen as a tweener but the Broncos are happy with the pick believing he should have been a first rounder and they want him at linebacker.

Simply put most teams avoid drafting ILB early.

ILB aren't valued by NFL teams but it only takes one team as we saw with the Lions who took Jack Campbell.
