On a micro scale, sure. But if a coach/program develops a reputation of being unreliable in their information pre-draft then it taints all players coming out for future classes. NFL teams are in the business of knowing who they’re investing in, both pros and cons. If you can’t be honest about who a kid is including their flaws then you’re doing everyone a disservice

Scouts don't need a cheerleader. At this point in the draft, they want the intimate truth. If they are dealing with character flaws or just need to know more about a player's practice habits Dabo is hurting the guys that are doing a good job by failing to separate the others who aren't.
