A stout defensive front 7 can force an O into taking chances it otherwise wouldn’t. When they can do that you end up with shorter drives and a shorter field (via turnovers, failed 4th downs, stalled drives) that can force a defense to take more chances to compensate for a stagnant O. That leads to open receivers, or blown assignments at different levels. This can make a bad O look better that it really is. Add in a Tim Tebow type talent (but at TE) and you have a very pedestrian O that makes a handful of plays and can skew stats to make them look better than they really are. 250ish a game 3 to 1 td to Int with just a single offensive talent can convince the gullible or the homers that Todd Monken is a decent OC and UGA was a juggernaut .

So yes a a deep front 7 can make a meh O look good on paper.

But that’s not something you can glean from video games so I doubt you can follow it.

This makes no sense. A bad D is what forces an O into taking chances.

Its astounding how clueless you are in regards to statistical analysis.

When you consider he was a 175 yards per first half Qb, what does this tell you about his usage in second halves?

You run from this point every time it is made.
