again, that D was entirely different than in the other 14 games played. We played them a month later wiht our "normal" D and held them to all field goals except for a fluky TD.

With OSU, we flat out couldn't stop them for a half. They were workiing us. Something liek that would not happen to 2021's defense.

Also 2022 did have a couple clunkers taht stand out. We had a major "WTF?" game against missouri that we were lucky to escape. Trailed most of the game, finally went ahead very late and hung on to win by 4. Teh UK game we kept getting held ot field goals or shot ourselves in the foot and won a boring 16-6 game. EVery othe rregular season game was won handily.

IN 2021 we played a stinker against clemson in the opener but were hell on wheels eveyr other week after that. Our next closest regular season game was a 3 possesion win over a UK team that was top 10 and finished with 10 wins.

No need to get defensive

And your response actually reinforces what I said, by the way- 22 was a better TEAM than 21. Both teams faced an elite opponent, and got punched in the mouth. Game didn't go as you planned.
2021 took the L, regrouped and won the rematch.
2022 took Ohio State's best shot, weathered it, and won the game.
