I love that we are at the point that after 4 SEC championships we are complaining. But we are meh huh?

Do some of yall listen to your own arguments and better yet know where we were as a program?

We were the basketball equivalent to Vandy football. Maybe not quite Vandy but definitely Miss State. OM is probably the only worse team historically than Auburn in the conference. UGA and AU close to equal historically prior to Bruce. Not saying we shouldn’t want more then what we have gotten but we have become a year in and year out a Top 15 team. Never would have thought it could happen. We have to keep that going. We are becoming a destination place for players. That’s where the foundation is.

Don’t get it twisted I want deep tournament runs that’s what basketball is about but there are reasons upsets happen every year and at increasing occurrences. But I also want good basketball teams the entire year not just one that gets hot in the tournament.

Congrats to Alabama for making their first final 4. Basketball in the state of Alabama is healthy. That will translate down to the high school levels and increase talent within the state which is good for all programs.
