The tournament always has big upsets.

Kentucky and us are the victims.

Perfect storm.
They Made contested shots. We did not.
CBM lost composure which destroyed our rhythm.
Denver missed a FT. Tre missed FTs.
All added up to failure.

This year has been brutal as a fan.

Dominated in football by New Mexico State, losing on 4th and 31, and now this.

I guess I’m a glutton for punishment. Time to lower my expectations.

I woke up sad but the darkest night is over. Time for next year szn.

Hopefully Holloway is part of the package. I hope he can lock in this offseason and reverse his trajectory in the presence of stiff adversity.

That’s pretty spot on with how I feel about it after sleeping on it. The officiating definitely hurt, but we had every opportunity to win the game and just couldn’t get it done down the stretch. It hurts, but that’s the nature of basketball-upsets happen. Yale had a dude that made extremely difficult shots all game, and shot well enough from the line in the second half to get it done.

Cest la vie. Sometimes things just suck. I would still much rather be sitting around pissed about getting knocked out in the first round than watching our guys play in the NIT, or not at all.

Nope basketball was the biggest loser and none of those basketball officials better ever knock on my door.

That was a theft, plain and simple, and them and the selection committee deserve shipping off for an extra-long visit to a Siberian jail.
