And is now closed to the public.

Gotta wonder if they are hiding a newly installed offense, or covering up serious issues lol.

I'm guessing the QB position is wide open and coach doesn't want the media or social media beating Cook down or having a negative influence. Just my guess, and as my wife keeps reminding me "I don't know shite."

I think it's because the wind chill is going to be in the teens, which is always a risk you run when having the spring game so early.

I'm thinking weather too. It's supposed to be miserable on Saturday.

Didn't Arkansas not let the media show the Spring game last year? It was a closed-door Spring game for Arkansas. Look how they came out this past season?
Will this be a closed-door Spring game to the media and fans?

I believe weather, combined with limited space, is the reason it's closed.

I'm not going to read anything into a meaningless game anyway.

Although, kU DID list their Spring Game as a victory several years ago.

It wasn’t closed door. It was just indoors due to weather.

The defense dominated.

But newcomers Tre’Vez Johnson and Triston Newson stole the show. Johnson had multiple big hits in the scrimmage, including one that stopped Luther Burden III at the goal line. The defense would go on to get a stop and force a field goal, and the defensive back got plenty of reps with the first team overall.

Newson has been a hot topic this spring, as the freshman out of Independence, MS has made headlines with his speed and ball-hawking ability at linebacker. Newson undercut a Sam Horn slant route and returned it for a touchdown in the scrimmage period, and he appears to be soaring up the depth chart after recording multiple interceptions in camp.

I remember one Arkansas fans said the HC would not show the game and it kept everyone else off guard about it. Kept the game out of the media. Arkansas was the only team not to show the Spring game.
