They had paired regions in 2011 or 2012 but UConn bounced Clemson so they came to Columbia instead of the Tigers.
Liberty beat Jacklegg twice so USC/CU never had to play. Toman was awesome that weekend. the Liberty fans we met/tailgated with were awestruck at how many Gamecock fans were in the ballpark for the LU/CU games - in many instances more vocal than the LU fans.
