I thought I saw Oats at mid-court, but tough to see on the broadcast. The players definitely sulked off.

The announcers for CBS literally covered this just before the game ended.
Both coaches met and agreed that if A&M won that there would be no handshake as it was assumed A&M would storm the court.
Safety issue.
If A&M fans don’t like it they can take it up with their coach.
This board is unreadable these days, can’t even tell who is trolling vs who is room temperature IQ at this point.

The players were running on the court celebrating. Oates and the assistants gave a wave to the TAMU staff. I assume they were expecting a court storming

It’s pretty easy to tell. The Alabama fans are almost exclusively room temperature IQ (because almost none of them attended any sort of secondary education)
