I’m gonna go way out on a limb here and just point out that a social media dance and a murder investigation involving multiple players aren’t really in the same stratosphere of comparison.
Also, a quote directly from the artist in that article:
“I'm not promoting gun violence or anything. It's just a dance. I want people to have fun. The team is unstoppable so what can you do to stop us? You have to get the gat," Taylor said.”
BUT, your point on normalized gun violence is well merited.

Thank you. My real point is that there's such a cavalier attitude all the time towards guns and then something like this happens and everyone involved is supposed to pretend like anything remotely related to guns is unholy and verboten.
It's amazing there aren't more shootings involving college athletes than there are.
Like they say, it is what it is.
