LEOs are not allowed to lie about certain things (like the nature of your rights), but they decidedly MAY lie to you constitutionally in order to secure a confession, especially if they have some evidence that you committed the offense (for example). (Some states may alter this by statute).

So cops can lie to a suspect, but a suspect can't lie to a cop.

No, it is in fact very binary. It's the definition of binary. You have claimed to be a lawyer on this site, which I doubt, but if true, you should be disbarred.
