Because in this country you are presumed innocent until proven guilty, and Miller hasn’t even been charged with a crime.

The beginning and the police have investigated it. Miller cooperated fully and there is nothing to charge him with. Let’s suspend a kid who did nothing wrong. Don’t let the mouth breathers from LSU and Auburn bother you. They don’t give a shot about this woman who died, the truth or anything other than they get to take a run at Alabama who had nothing to do with this crime.

Whether he should be charged and convicted of something and whether he should be suspended or dismissed from the team are two different things. Some institutions make no distinction. Others have a higher standard for eligibility than simply following the prosecutor’s lead.
