I've gotta imagine that in the history of CFB, the #1 scoring offense nationally being held to 33 points below their season average has probably not been seen too often

Exercise in futility.

Writers follow paint by numbers for all the off-season conversation-starting ‘prediction’ BS:
Those with more returning production = good. Those with less = less good. Those with new OCs or HC = less good.

You’ll know in 200 more days.

In the same season yall kept the number 6 offense to 3 points and beat them by 46. Maybe uptempo offenses are a bad matchup against yall. We had some mutual opponents that had much more success against yall than we did and whem we played them they seemed very pedestrian.
