Did I say anything that wasn't true in my OP?
Two years ago his team played for the nat'l championship and last year after bowl season, it was obvious that Alabama should have been in the playoffs to begin with, AND everybody knows that Georgia was scared to death that they would be! Saban had ANOTHER tremendous #1 recruiting season, so the people that count (the recruits!) aren't worried...neither are the fans.

You do know that Georgia was #2 in recruiting don’t you? Only a few points lower than Bama. We have been #1 with Bama at 2 in recent years. Top 3 regular finishes for us and for you. One top class stacked onto another. The difference is that Kirby knows how to recognize potential and how to coach up players.He has turned walkons and 3 stars into superstars. Something Grandpaw doesn’t seem very good at anymore
