BAMA vs. Florida Stats

I copied this from a BAMA board so I will give the credit to the guy that did the work.
Teague, on tidesports compilled these stats. I know game comparison don't mean a lot but this is interesting. Anybody that thinks that BAMA can't play with Florida is wrong in my opinion.

Bama rushing: 178 yards.
TN rushing: 36 yards.
Bama passing: 188
TN passing: 137
Florida vs Tennessee

Im positive Bama can hang with Florida. I don't underestimate what Saban can throw at us.
The team that lost to Ole Miss and beat Tenn was not the same team the Gators are now. Not until the last quarter of Arky did we wake up.
But still, stats dont lie. But they can be misleading

Only thing is Florida beat the shite out of all those teams except ole miss, while bama struggled with a few of them. Florida is just too fast on all parts of the field. I like Florida in the game but you can never tell with how well Bama has played in alot of games.

It seems, in general, that the only fans that think Bama can hang with UF are Bama and UF fans. I even think Florida wins, but I don't think it's a given.

Like i said u can never tell with how both teams have played this year, BAMA has played some great games but it seems like they have been not playing as well as the season has progressed. Florida started off not playing quite as well but their offense has been unstoppable these past few games. I think that Bama is capable of hanging with them. The only question is will they.

Only thing is Bama beat Ole Miss. Bama may have struggled with the others, but bottom line... we won. There's something to be said about teams that find a way to win.

I agree with everything you said. You are in the minority of LSU fans as most of them are absolutely positive that Bama will lose by 40.

How'd your stats fare in the Tulane game? Exactly, stats don't mean a damn thing and hardly tell the story. You were in little danger at all of losing to Tulane the same as Florida against pretty much every opponent they've faced as of late. When they are up big, the other team is going to get yards, just not points.

I know...I remember that year that Miami raped everybody and I remember all of that speed they had that was too much for BAMA to handle. If only someone had told the BAMA players how good Miami was maybe we wouldn't have beat the absolute shite out of them.

You left the most important stat of all...scoreboard. Florida outscored these opponets 269-79. Bama outscored their opponents 187-108. Average Florida score 44.83-13.16. Average bama score 31.16-18.

Scoop, do yourself a big favor and bet big $$ on Florida. If Bama wins, you'll be so happy you won't care about losing the bet an if Bama loses, you will at least collect some cash.
