re: 12-team CFP: Potential candidates for an expanded Pac-12?

I'm still surprised by what happened to the Pac 12. They've been 100% in lockstep with the Big 10, in every decision. Forced the SEC to work with the ACC and/or Big 12, because you KNEW those two would vote together as a block. There was never even a doubt.

I don't see how the Pac 12 can recover- it's not just a couple teams, it's the So Cal teams. That's a giant hole in the middle of their territory, and there's no viable replacement to fill that spot.

I wouldn't be shocked if the Pac 12 votes AGAINST the Big 10 now, in every decision. Too little too late, maybe, but I'm pretty sure they're now bitter enemies.
