Spot on post. I’d also add that we don’t know what Armstrong is going to bring to the table.

I think in summary the coordinators are okay hires. It’s not as exciting as some of the names we heard thrown around, so I understand the disappointment.

On the flip side, our team looked poorly coached this year and at times in 2021. I’m talking about simple, non-scheme things like having the right number of players in the huddle, getting aligned on time, eliminating dumb penalties.

Just cleaning up stupid penalties probably gets us 12-0 this past season. We don’t necessarily need these to be great hires to take back control of the West and get back in the playoff. They just have to be competent.

To beat UGA though, they’re going to have to really hit.

Steele took that 2019 Auburn defense to LSU and held that high powered offense to 23 points, he knows how to run a defense with some talent on it. I think he will make an improvement in areas we desperately need. This may not be a homerun to some but he is exactly what we need.

One Georgia ain't on the schedule like last year let's get their first then worry about it. I'm taking nothing from granted after that defensive beta performance last year.

Steele not Georgia held the greatest team of all time or the second greatest 2019 LSU to their lowest point total, 23, and their smallest margin ov victory 3 pts on the road in death Valley. A week later we gave up 46 pts and if we don't score 21 in the fourth quarter we get smoked.
