I loved Stevie G. But he singlehandedly cost us Atlanta in 2011 because of his piss poor play against Auburn.
When Thompson got the job in 2014, his offense was lethal. He just had absolutely no defense whatsoever.

Garcia is also the only QB to reach atlanta as a Gamecock. The auburn bullshite stings, but part of that was the university and Hyman being assholes.
Id say its also the difference between Garcia and Shaw. Shaw was never going to throw you into a game, but he wasnt going to throw you out of it. Garcia could light it up and took some chances.
