People forget Oregon went to the NC twice in the 2010s.
They’re a star QB away from really stealing the pac 12. Lincoln Riley is too dependent on QBs and zero defense to win anything substantial in his career. Deion might steal one eventually but I believe Oregon or Utah is ultimately the predominate force for the time being in the PAC.

I don't. They should have been in over Nebraska in 01 as well, though they wouldn't have beaten Miami. And they controlled their destiny in 07 before Dixon went down. Don't wanna say they'd have made it because they had already lost to Cal and wild shite happened every week that year so you never know, but they were never the same team after that.
In '21 they make the playoffs if they win the Pac, plus they've had other years where they just missed out similar to that. They've been close a lot, just can never do just that little extra to cash in. But they have all the tools a school needs. A+ facilities, national brand with Nike backing NIL, new unis every week, sitting right on top of Cali and Stanford/Cal aren't exactly football powerhouses for the NoCal recruits. I think there'll be a year where they finally crack through.
I used to think West Virginia, seeing as they're the winningest P5 team without a title (or they used to be, haven't checked that in a while) but they haven't seriously contended for anything since Rich Rod, and the Big 12 hasn't been kind to them.
I just saw Wisconsin in the post above mine. I'm kinda surprised they never have. The Big Ten West is bad so maybe Fickell can cash in once the playoffs expand.

They were also a Dennis Dixon knee injury away from the title in '07.
