He must be. You do know he was a transfer from Miss State, had just arrived in Athens and had never played a down at UGA. Looks like someone didn’t vet this guy enough. UGA will no doubt do a little more research in the future before taking in players from the portal. The transfer portal should vet these kids too. Thousands in the portal for thousands of reasons. Unlike high school recruits the time frame doesn’t allow for long term evaluation

LSU loved Mettenburger. After his drunken abuse he was gone from UGA before the sun rose the next morning. And his Mom was Richts secretary and Zac literally grew up inside the UGA program. Georgia does not tolerate violence or abuse from anyone - even if they were intoxicated- and the players are kicked to the curb. Only to end up at the LSUs and AUs
