Didn't say it was an excuse. It's just how it is. Thug culture and mental illness both can lead to shite like this.
You can deny it because you're tired of hearing about it, but it's true.
I lean toward thug culture at the root of this one, but I guess we'll find out more about the circumstances in a few days.

I’m not going to buy “mental illness” unless there’s a report from a medical professional saying it was a mental illness. Being a sociopath willing to kill another human being because of a verbal argument doesn’t qualify. That bullshite has to stop. It’s rampant where I’m from too (Memphis) and disgusts me
