Just remember, It wasn’t Pete Golding that Freeze and manziel were cooking 6-7 years ago. Now you’ve got six offenses like that on your schedule every year.

That's correct, Kirby/Pruitt's defenses did occasionally get cooked by really good offenses. Still do.

What they didn't do was get cooked by middling/pretty good offenses like Arkansas, Texas A&M, LSU and Auburn of this past season. And there in lies the biggest difference.

That was Kirby, he seems to be doing ok.

Two of the three years you're talking about ended with us winning the national championship. We need a better product than what Golding was putting on the field recently, especially in the 4th quarter of tight games.

He should do well in Oxford, good luck.
