Year before that, they started 1-4.
Both teams went to Elite 8 and were last SEC team standing in March Madness.
Bad January is the norm.
They will still be the best team in the SEC by March.

Can't expect each year going 1-4 and expect a great season each year. Sometimes the wheels fall off and they don't get put back on.

One thing Muss needs to do and that is enough with these cold starts and have a good team from November to March for a change.

Why do we disrespect Dr. King every year though?

Making it to the quarterfinals doesn’t mean you’re the best team in the league, it just means you won 3 games in a row. Hell, South Carolina made a final 4

They just got clapped by 15 at home, curious what you saw from each team that lead you to the conclusion Arkansas will be the better of the two in March. Elaborate.

The early losses last year were relative flukes.

Arkansas was pretty outclassed by Auburn and Alabama this time.

Arkansas had a few players that can score last year. But now that is a big problem.

A loss is a loss and certainly not a fluke.

I'm sure all y'all knew the 0-3 and 1-4 starts the last two years were flukes, none of you were saying the season was lost and everyone knew they'd end up beating the overall No. 1 seed and clearly be the best team in the conference.

Hog fan through and through. Born and raised pure bred Akansawyer. It's just that fandom doesn't cloud my judgment, and I don't really think sports is all that important. In fact, I think sports is way more important than it should be in our culture. So even some Hog fan posters don't like my takes sometimes.

Yea that top ranked recruiting class, and their coach are overrated this year. No surprise. This is a 2 team league this year, and everyone else playing for 3rd place.

Would have to be epic improvement all around. I just don’t think so this season. It had potential to be the best season under Muss but knees and shite.
