Watching the replay of the game, and I'm already thinking about next season's team.

What would you add or change to this depth chart?

QB: Beck | BVG | Stockton
RB: Edwards | Milton | Robinson
WRX: Bell | Smith
WRZ: MRJ | Thomas
WRY: McConkey | Lovett
LT: Morris
LG: Truss
OC: SVP
RG: Ratledge
RT: Mims
TE: Bowers
TE: Delp

DE: Williams
NT: Alexander | Stackhouse
DT: Brinson
JACK: Chambliss
MONEY: Dumas-Johnson | Davis
MAC: Mondon | Marshall
SAM: Walker
LCB: Green | Harris
SS: Daniel | Thomas
FS: Starks
RCB: Lassiter | Everette
STAR: Bullard | Smith

- NFL departures?
- Does Jalon Walker stay at OLB?
- Which freshmen will play?

Aside from Washington, I really kept everyone else. I don't know how these things work...

I guess they will get evaluated and see if it's worth staying another year?

I would expect them to go unless they LOVE school. Ringo is in this boat as well he was one of the players Kirby did a curtain call for.

Like yours but I think Bear is gonna be starting. Still don't trust Milton, he may be the number 1 out of camp, but Mustard and Robinson get more carries.

RaRa gonna be starting somewhere I assume.

I think SVPG gets hooked up with a NIL deal and sticks around.

MJJ beats out Chaz...hopefully.

Starting on UGA DL is fluid. Warren Brinson and he should rotate. I think he will take Carters snaps for sure.

I may be wrong. I thought Morris has been working at guard.

You’re right. His game action was primarily at G. Last year in fall camp he and Greene were running at LT behind Jones. I put Morris there because he’s older and there may be a log jam at both G spots.

Count me in as a big Daijun Edwards fan. He is not what I consider a great running back. He does not have exceptional speed, vision, moves etc....but, he hits a hole quickly and refuses to go down. He lowers his shoulder and punishes the defense. His ability to avoid getting hit squarely and stay on his feet (balance) is impressive.

I think we are all Daijun fans.
He may be our best back when there are no holes created by the line..

My biggest concern for offense is the lack of a Kenny McIntosh (James Cook) on the roster.

I understand that Cook was the better NFL prospect. But Kenny was more important to our offense. We have a step back without that type of weapon next season.

McIntosh's ability as a backfield receiver cannot be overstated. Kid wasn't human as a target.

Agree. Our offense (Monken's offense) needs a dual-threat RB/receiver out of the backfield.
Coupled with a dual-threat QB like Bennett makes for a potent, dynamic combination.

I think Monk is good enough that he doesn't "need" it. We have can have shifty guys all over the field and replicate some of the same things.

But it is a lot easier to get that linebacker matchup from the running back position where we may have to do a lot more out of formations and motions to set that matchup for someone else.
Monken is smart enough to do without.

Yep, as a former NFL OC, Monken is accustomed to formulating and offense without the QB being part of the running game.
And since Beck has the height, arm strength and accuracy and the most experience in our offense, I'm expecting Beck to be our next starter with Stockton possibly coming in for short yardage situations.
