The problem here is not running up the score, the real problem was TCU should have not been in the game.
Good teams stayed home because TCU plays in a weak conference. The selection committee is forced to do this and the only way to correct is a playoff with top twelve teams. 3 game playoffs even if we need to shorten the season, do away with conference championships

I think that's a fair point as well. I mean they won their way in, so they deserved it from that point of view, but I get what you're saying.
