I think some parents just throw scrabble letters against the wall and determine that’s how they’re going to name their child

Well names like John, Henry, and Michael would sound very strange to people in certain parts of the word.

That’s how cultures work. There’s no such thing as a weird name. At the end of the day it’s all just letters and syllables, and everyone has different norms.

The Dawg fascination with this dude's haircut is one of the oddest things coming out of Athens these days.

John doesn’t sound strange anywhere and is actually translated into quite a few different languages. Stequavious and the like is an American phenomenon and you don’t even have to leave the country to find people who think it’s weird and retarded.

God y’all are set up for such a let down. Am I the only one that’s feeling this coming?

Like LSU fans' obsession with Kirby's hair cut.

First of all, no one is actually named Stequavious, so you can calm down a bit.

John is definitely a traditional name, with many translations, but there are plenty of places on earth where it would be uncommon.

Not every name is translated from something. Some names are just names.

There’s a kid down here named Shithead, pronounced Sha theed.

Might of thought more about that spelling…..
