With Texas winning only 1 title in the last 52 seasons, CFB for me has become all about schadenfreude. I enjoy seeing the teams I don't like lose and their fanbases suffer.
It is difficult to put in to words how devastating a TCU win would be for Texas A&M fans & alums. They have had to endure 15 years of "VY" talk, and now that that is waning, for them to get hit with TCU championship talk for the next 15 years will crush the aggies. Sane aggie fans know they will never see a national title in their lifetimes. A TCU championship will cause many aggies to give up on cfb.

Saban’s record will probably never be broken, however he’s been at Alabama for 21 seasons, and is 71 years old. Kirby’s coached at Georgia for 7 seasons, and is 47.
So, while the dynasty currently belongs to Alabama, time is on Kirby’s side now.
Will he do it? Impossible to know. He’s had a good start. The playoff format is about to change. No telling how that will play out?
