So it wasn't that Mizzou had improved that much. It was that Kentucky is horrible this year?

I think Mizzou and LSU are decent. We've occasionally played decent (see LSU).

There's absolutely talent on this team. That's a full-on bailout of them digressing under Cal's coaching.

I agree they have talent (Oscar, maybe Wheeler). Toppin only plays well against mediocre teams, Wallace and Livingston are still young. Frededick and Reeves are not the shooters they should be. Not going to defend Cal that they should be better, but they do not have the quality of players they had last year.

What?
shooting 27% on field goals and 17% on 3s. I dont love Cal but this game was 100% players not hitting shots. UK shot the ball 20+ times and lost by 20, almost 30.

Wallace is one of the best freshmen in the country. Wheeler has consistently topped the country in assist numbers and was also good at Georgia.

Reeves was one of the top shooters in the country at his previous stop as well.

Acting like this team doesn't have enough talent to not lose by 30 to Alabama is the biggest crock of shite I've read by a non-UK fan.

I said it a few weeks back Kentucky is severely and I mean severely overrated … how pollsters try to even think Kentucky was a ranked team is pathetic .

No doubt our shooting has been terrible today, but it also was against Missouri, Michigan State, Gonzaga, etc.

That is coaching.

As a coach, its your responsibility to put your players in the best position to win a game.

If you have guys not hitting shots, then you push the defense to open up fast break opportunities (and this team IS capable of that with the speed they have). Or at the very least set up some sets for higher percentage shots to get them back in the groove.
