I'd imagine this isn't the last the University will hear from Chris Beard on the matter, but Texas can deal with that down the road when the time comes.
Terrible situation all involved, but I believe the school made the best decision here, all things considered.

Typical Longhorn fan caring more about the optics of the situation than the victim. Does firing Beard benefit the victim or Texas?
