How the heck do you know what went wrong? Maybe playing time, play for a championship team, or NIL.

He had 19 rushes and 8 receptions this season, both down quite a bit from his sophomore season. It would be a good guess that he's transferring to play more

Not really surprised here. Didn’t get much playing time. Can’t really blame him.

He might of realized that he is going to be behind Harris, Jones, and whoever we get in the portal. He probably doesn't want to be fighting with Butts for snaps as the 3rd or 4th RB and mainly playing special teams.
I don’t blame him for transferring. He’s not going to get much more playing time next year. He needs to go to a non-P5 school, so he can be one of the 2 featured backs.

Our top 2 rbs next year will most likely be Scharder and Jones. I wish Young would stay but i doubt he wants to split carries with 2 other rbs. and Jones is our RB of the future.
