When Alabama has had quitters, they didn’t get to stand on the sideline for the bowl game.
If a guy wants to quit, then thank him for his work and wish him luck, but he shouldn’t get to quit and still pretend to be on the team.
He choose himself over the team.

Regardless of who the individual is, if ANY player can play, and chooses to opt out, he should NOT be allowed on the sidelines, or even seen associating with the team during any of the bowl activities.
The sport itself is suppose to teach competition, and the team concept! That's why "sport" was established!
