oh but there are several on this board that said they think it's time for Saban to resign if he doesn't fire Golding. They just don't have the backbone to fess up today.
I hope Golding is replaced but to think Saban can be replaced that easily, and keep signing #1 classes and contending for titles is ridiculous.
I don't think all those posters are morons. Some of them are run of the mill trolls. Add it all up and this is why this board is so inactive most of the year.

I am one of the ones that said Saban needs to do something with the OC and DC and overall discipline of the team and if he fails to do so next year then it may be time for him to retire.
I’m very excited about the signing class (just like I was last year). If we fail to develop the talent and haven’t missed on evaluations (like we seem to have done the last two years), then we have an institutional problem that he needs to address. If Nick doesn’t see that and work to correct it, then again, it may be time to retire.
No one wants a Bobby Bowden situation to develop. I think Nick has seen that we have a problem, and will do something, but if he doesn’t and we continue to get pushed around at the LOS, continue to be undisciplined and commit egregious penalties, and struggle on both sides of the ball at critical junctures ……..

To me that's totally insanity. Absolute fear driven and impatient lunacy. I haven't seen that btw, but I doubt you started a thread for no reason. I misunderstood your premise, too. Sorry for the down vote.
I can disagree with my coach. It's not the end of the world. He's earned my trust.....
