2016 Ohio State would have the defensive personnel to make it interesting (5 first-rounders in the secondary, Nick Bosa, Sam Hubbard, Dremont Jones, Jerome Baker, and some other NFL draft picks) but the offense was so laughably bad that they'd still get smoked by 2019 LSU. The real way would be to have a historically great defensive line like 2016 Clemson or a random Bama team since the only way to stop a Joe Burrow offense is to actually sack him (see 2021 Bengals).

All comparisons to each good team start with “are they the next 2019 lsu” I’ve never heard are they the next 2020 bama? 2019 lsu beats 2020 bama by 3 touchies
