Sideways is a graduate from Mississippi Southern… which is the 492’nd ranked university in the USA!
Yet he’s a “fan” of LSU because he understands there is nothing to root for in being from Mississippi Southern.

Exactly.
I grew up as an LSU fan because my grandpa went to LSU and we watched the games together.
If he would've been an Aggie, I wouldn't have watched those games and thus never became a fan.
Hence why Texas A&M doesn't have sidewalk fans.
