Clearly the threat of Milroe running the ball opened up BIG lanes for Gibbs. He didn't have close to that much room to run in any other game this season.

A more reliable gauge of Milroe’s current ability and impact on the game is the next week after Arkansas start against the Aggies.
First half he did ok running the ball. Second half after A&M adjusted, it was a disaster. A&M knew he was absolutely no threat throwing the ball. They knew he was slow seeing the field and slow pulling the trigger. They spied him and every-time he tried to run he was stopped, usually for a loss and sometimes with a fumble.
Other teams would feast on this and unless he gets comfortable in the pocket, gets better at seeing the field, reading the defense and improves mechanics, his time as a Bama QB will be short lived.

I'm not saying Milroe is going to do this but Jalen could barely throw his freshman year (and for several years after that) and if he wasn't hurt would have had a really good shot at being the literal NFL MVP (still might win anyway).

Can we give Milroe a minute to figure it out please?
