Milroe,totaled 297 yards on 31-of-52 passing with five touchdowns and three interceptions ... added 31 rushes for 263 yards and one score. Utah State: Finished 8-of-10 for 76 yards and a touchdown with one interception ... connected from 17 yards out for the score ... added two rushes for 10 yards. ULM: Rushed twice for a pair of first downs and 42 total yards ... also attempted two passes. Vanderbilt: Went 4-of-6 for 10 yards through the air ... added two rushes for 20 yards. Arkansas: Entered in the second quarter following an injury to Bryce Young ... led the Tide offense to five touchdowns and 35 points across his eight drives ... finished 4-of-9 passing for 65 yards and a touchdown ... also rushed for 91 yards and a score on just six carries with a long rush of 77 yards. Texas A&M: Made his first career start ... tied for the second-most passing touchdowns in a UA starting debut with three ... accumulated 111 yards and the three scores on 12-of-19 passing with one interception ... added 17 rushes for 81 yards with a long of 33. Mississippi State: Came off the bench late in the game ... finished 1-of-2 for 12 yards. Austin Peay: Went 2-of-4 passing for 23 yards with an interception ... also combined for 19 yards on a pair of rushes.

Simpson, played in four games, completing 4-of-5 passes for 35 yards. Utah State: Entered in the final minutes of the game ... went 1-of-2 for 10 yards in his debut. ULM: Came in late at quarterback as the Tide ran down the clock. Vanderbilt: Completed his lone pass attempt for a gain of five yards. Austin Peay: Finished 2-of-2 passing for 20 yards.

Geez, maybe we do need that extra month of practices. That’s not much experience at all. Do we roll with one of these next year, do we have a qb recruit coming in that might start or do we try our luck in the portal?

If this is correct and I trust your research is and assuming we don't make the Playoffs and Bryce opts out of the bowl game, does this mean Milroe gets the whole game or would we burn one of Simpson's years to get him some game experience?

What bothers me is you watch everyone else’s back up come in and look so competent but ours look like a QB who has never started a game. It’s not reps either Simpson and Milton have both been given reps with ones due to Bryce’s injury
