Mountain Brook has one of the highest populations in this list and the percentage of incomes over $200K is almost a third. A lot of these towns listed are very small or have a low percentage of incomes above that amount. The stats for Bellaire, Texas are very impressive compared to every other place on this list.

Madison is new money. Mountain Brook is old money.

But the real money resides, or at least spends its weekends, out in rural Shelby County not far from a little community called Sterrett. A good number of some of the wealthiest people in the state own “farms” out there.

Eh maybe Mountain Brook in Madison, AL..but that's a community/neighborhood not a city

But Madison as a city is nowhere near Mtn Brook, AL as far as wealthiness
